For schools and teachers

Your syllabus, drilled all week.

Upload the handouts and chapters your class is actually working through. Duru turns them into vocabulary, grammar patterns, tests and speaking practice, and schedules the review for every student — without asking anyone to learn from a different curriculum than yours.

  • The course is your course

Each file becomes a lesson in teaching order. Example sentences are written from the words and grammar the class has met so far, so the exercises stay inside what you have taught.

  • Homework that schedules itself

Spaced repetition decides what each student sees today. You set what is in the course; the timing is handled per learner, which is the part no teacher has time to do by hand.

  • Practice aimed at their mistakes

Each student’s mistakes are grouped by what went wrong — a particle, a tense, a speech level — across typing, tests and speaking, and the words that keep catching them are worked back into new drills, tests and conversations.

  • Joining takes a scan

Share a course by link or QR code on the projector. Students appear in your course list with their last sync, and access can be revoked from the same screen.

  • Speaking practice at any hour

A live voice tutor — actual conversation, not push-to-talk — fenced in by your course vocabulary, slowing down when asked, explaining in the student’s own language when they are stuck. Thirty students, thirty conversations, none of them yours to run.

  • You keep the material

Uploads stay inside your own courses. Nothing is published, nothing is sold, and nothing trains a model of ours.

What it does not do yet

  • No gradebook or attendance. Duru is practice between your lessons, not a school management system. It will not replace your LMS.
  • No view of your students’ mistakes. Each learner sees what keeps catching them; there is no view of that across a class for you yet.
  • No class accounts or bulk enrolment. Students create their own account and join a course with a link or a QR code. Fifty students is fifty scans, not a spreadsheet upload.
  • You need the right to use the material. Uploading a textbook you own a licence for is your call to make; Duru will not make it for you.
