Your curriculum, practised properly.
Cultural institutes, exam boards, universities and publishers already decide what a level means and which words belong in it. Duru is the practice layer that has no opinion of its own: bring the syllabus you certify against and learners drill it — the words, the patterns, the register — instead of whatever an app invented.
Your material stays yours
You keep the copyright. We host it to serve your learners and process it to build exercises — nothing else. It never trains a model of ours, and it is never sold, licensed on, or handed to another publisher.
Practice that matches the exam
Vocabulary, grammar patterns and example sentences come from your text, in your order. Exercises are written so that a form your level teaches in chapter nine does not turn up in chapter three.
Speaking, inside your syllabus
The voice tutor is fenced in by the course it belongs to. A learner on your A2 course has an A2 conversation, in the register your material teaches, not whatever a general model reaches for.
What learners actually struggle with
Mistakes are grouped by what went wrong, per course. Aggregated, that is evidence about your material: which chapter loses people, which pattern never sticks.
Attribution and reach
A published course carries your name on its own page, and reaches learners who came looking for the real syllabus rather than a gamified substitute for it.
You control access
Open to everyone, or only to people you give a link to — and removable at any time, in one action, without asking us.
Where this honestly stands
- Public publishing is not switched on yet. Putting a course in front of strangers needs a review process and a takedown route behind it, and building those before the button is the right order. Today a course reaches exactly the people you share a link with.
- There is no revenue share yet. Learners pay Duru for their own plan, mostly for the voice tutor. Terms for published material get agreed with you before anything built on it is charged for, not after.
- We are small and early. If you need an SLA, a DPA and a procurement process today, we are not there. If you want to shape what a practice layer for your syllabus should be, now is exactly the moment.
- Processing involves AI providers. Text is sent to them to extract vocabulary and build exercises. It is covered in the privacy policy, and it is the first thing we would put in writing for you.
Tell us what you teach
Duru is early, and what gets built next is decided by the people using it with real classes. Say what you need and you will get a reply from a person.
